As professional Employee Benefits Consultants, the Benefits Department of Atlantic Risk manages millions of dollars of insurance premiums, and we pride ourselves in delivering unparalleled customer service.  We specialize in partnering with multiple providers to develop employee benefits packages that best meet the needs of employers, helping them both attract and retain valued employees.


We'll sit down with you and analyze any existing benefits plans, identifying potential problem areas and providing recommendations for enhancing your program.  In short, we work with you to develop a proactive, long-range benefit strategy, one that encompasses all areas of benefits, from group insurance to retirement plans to mix & match cafeteria plans, resulting in a comprehensive and cohesive approach.


Once your plan is up and running, we are there, "on call", to help you manage your program on a day-to-day basis.  Claim questions, billing problems...we'll be your "in-house" benefits staff.  Your assigned account manager will personally contact the carrier and/or provider on behalf of your employees. Our extensive and expert knowledge enables us to answer any questions or tackle any confusing issues at hand.


As the renewal date of your benefits program approaches, we will sit down with you and formulate renewal strategies based on your needs and objectives.  As an independent agency, Atlantic Risk Management is not bound to what the insurance companies may be offering.  With years of rate negotiation experience, we will sit on your side of the table during the negotiations with carriers.  We will help you analyze all the options and give you a total objective analysis...we work for you, not the insurance companies.

Group Health and Dental Insurance

We offer a full range of group health policies including HMOs, Open Access Plans, PPOs and new HRA and HSA Plans.  We work with premier carriers, including CareFirst (Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Anthem, Coventry, CIGNA, Guardian and many others. Both fully insured and partially self-funded plans are available.

 

Retirement Plans

We can set-up traditional 401(k)s, Profit-sharing Plans, Defined Benefit Plans and simple IRAs.  We're affiliated with numerous carriers that also include provide recordkeeping services.  We offer a wide range of mutual funds that include a full tier of asset classes, as well as lifestyle funds and portfolio models.


Group Life, Short and Long-Term Disability, and Long Term Care Plans

Both employer-paid and voluntary programs are available with many top-rated carriers.


Section 125 Flexible Benefits Plan

This popular program includes a premium-only plan, medical reimbursement and dependent care plans, as well as flexible spending account (cafeteria) plans.
